One of the highlights of Basic is the graduation feast after completing the C-course. The joy and the fellowship is very powerful coming off of the stress and strain of the 24-hour CHALLENGE course. This also is the first opportunity for the recruits to really get to know the staff that make this training happen and hear their stories and real-world experiences.
Throughout the week the staff are also assessing the recruits and noting possible staff candidates. Candidates must have graduated Basic and have an endorsement from a qualified staffer. If you've graduated CHALLENGE and are interested in trying out for staff, get in touch with us so we can build our roster for the 3-day selection course in early 2023.
Whether you end up staffing or not, it is always a learning experience. We often have people choose to retake (after passing) just to continue their own leadership development.
